![]() Fotos / SonidosQuéAlmeja Berberecho (Trachycardium egmontianum)Observ.grainer_a_23DescripciónThe shape of the mollusk is similar to a snail; however it is not one. It is cockle that is white/cloudy in color. The foot is what is visible in the photos, and there should be siphons that are hidden. The mollusk is around 2inches in length, while the shell was around 2 inches in diameter. It is part of the Bivalvia group. The mollusk is a protostome, mostly because they look like snails. The reason they are protostome is because their mouth forms first. The organism was found on the north side of honeymoon beaches gulf. This is located between Dunedin and Palm Harbor. ![]() Fotos / SonidosQuéArdilla Gris de Las Carolinas (Sciurus carolinensis)Observ.snyder_a_601DescripciónThis squirrel's body/trunk was about 6 inches in length, not including its tail. The squirrel has fur, a slender body, and a furry tail with a jaw that has sharp teeth "on the upper and lower jaw that never stop growing," thus making it a part of the rodent family. This organism was found at the park with many trees nearby and lots of grass surrounding it.
