I'm an education specialist and doctoral student. My primary objective is to photograph and create scientifically useful reference images for as many species as possible. I have been photographing native Southern California wildlife since 1998.

Some people know a lot about one thing.
Some people know a little about a lot of things.
But everyone knows something.
Knowledge is not a possession to be hoarded.
It does not, in and of itself, imply integrity.
Nor should it ever equate to status.
Knowledge only has value when it is given away.
So long as you never mistake doing so for charity.
