B.S. Environmental Horticulture from Virginia Tech

I am currently a sustainable agriculture systems Peace Corps Volunteer in the Comarca Ngäbe-Buglé region of Panamá. I work in the rural community where I live training local farmers. My main projects involve promoting crop diversity in the community through seed sharing programs and teaching how to make various types of organic fertilizers.

I am a Virginia native; raised on a small family-run cattle farm. While studying I founded the club Fungus United at Virginia Tech. I'm interested in all taxa but especially fungi, moths, and amphibians.

I'm interested in conservation, ecology, and habitat restoration as career paths.
