Subtropical Ecology

Subtropical Ecology is a biology/environmental science class that has been taught biannually at The University of West Alabama since 2005. The class studies the biological communities of the humid subtropics, with the state of Florida as their laboratory. This year the class will be making two field trips - one to the Florida Panhandle from September 22 - September 25, and a longer trip down the peninsula from November 17 - November 26. The Panhandle trip is set to leave tomorrow morning at 5:30, and will travel to Ochlockonee River State Park south of Sopchoppy, FL. That will be home base for three days while the class explore nearby sites.
