Marine biologist and fisheries scientist. Director of the Collaborative Centre for Sustainable Use of the Seas (CCSUS) at the University of East Anglia (UEA) and the Centre for Environment, Fisheries & Aquaculture Science (Cefas).

Interested in anything that moves (and occasionally things that don't). Particularly keen on wildlife of the British Isles , the Caribbean and Southern Africa.
