I am an Assistant Professor of Biology and Eco-immunologist at Ohio Northern University. My research focuses on the symbiotic relationships between animal hosts and their microbial communities as related to animal health and conservation.

I teach Cell Biology, Marine Biology, Introductory Biology Lab courses, Microbiology, Herpetology, and Tropical Biology and Conservation Study Abroad in Ecuador.

My students will utilize iNaturalist to document their observations in their field courses.
