Walnut Canyon- Summer

All the grass has been cleared, as required by LA City brush clearance regulations, to prevent spread of fires in residential areas. On this warm afternoon, there is very little life here, other than the plants, and a few insects, and squirrels.

Descripción

One squirrel, moving on ground. As I moved closer, it moved away, seemed not too nervous about me, letting me get about 10 feet from it. Then it went up a tree, hiding in branches. Narrow, striped tail, not as full as other squirrels in the area.
