Found on wet night while looking for amphibians. A bit lethargic. Temp of road at 2200hrs near bottom of Marys Peak Rd was 12.8C (~1.5hr earlier than obs and at lower elev). Found between exit for Harlan & Parker Creek Falls.

Found next to a large fallen tree on Rhododendron trail near the main road, adult found eating a juvenile. Juvenile appeared to be dead already, adult was alive but not moving or attempting to swallow, just holding the other in its mouth. Conditions were dry and sunny.

Two of the 21 O. rosacea we found in the rocky intertidal at Whiskey Creek on 16 June 2015. Like these two, most were on their bryozoan prey, Integripelta bilabiata. That's Hermissenda opalescens out of focus in the foreground of the 1st image.

It's about 1inch, about a big around as a quarter. I'm not sure about the species. It was in my backyard. I unfortunately had to spray for insects in my yard. The earwigs, grasshoppers, and fleas are out of control this season. My swamp cooler drains where I found it. I was hoping to move it to the park nearby to keep it safe from the pesticides in my yard.
