I’m thinking this is a wolverine.
Does anyone know🤷🏼♀️
It was on my grandpa’s hunting camera.
animal ran along the trail away from us then into the oak forest - as soon as it was in the forest, it climbed into the shrubs and from there up into the trees -about 50 metre into the trees, it spent quite a few minutes on a large branch in the trees about 5 metres above the ground moving back and forth looking back at us and surveying its surroundings then returned to the ground and ran off further into the forest - the tracks are from where the animal left the trail
the animal was larger than a squirrel, smaller than a fox; its face was lighter than its body and the tail was darker than both; the tail was as long as the body and very thick and bushy; the ears were large and pointed; it made no sounds in our hearing;
Seen during Shoal Lakes IBA blitz.
Cold and wet from snow showers
another individual, probably immature, walking through the reeds
