Many of these in clumps around the base of Bunya pine. Did not observe these in May / June 2023. This comes following a few weeks of substantial rain and first was much more damp than in winter.

Rubbery feel, sock at base or another mycelium maybe, in soil

On wombat (?) dung.
Possibly the beginning of Ceratiomyxa fruticulosa (Icicle Fairy Fans), or White-footed Slime (Diachea leucopodia)?

Tiny - fungi or slime mould?On the underside of dead wood lying on damp soil

13mm diameter.
Growing on mossy embankment under Pittosporum sp.
Smell like Inca berries.

Grows exclusively from dictyonema spp as shown

Field Notes - Large pale brown fungi with cap to 25cm growing under a raised house. Gills pale brown to cream and extend to soil level.

Found on sand inside giants cave. I'm assuming the second and third photos are the fruiting body

Don’t think this is a cannonball fungus but haven’t seen anything else that’s close

Field Notes - This yellow, sunflower-like fungus, each measuring about 2 mm with a black, ?? ing centre was growing on some old dried cowdung

Found in a cave in Tasmania’s Mole Creek Area

The fungi. Most standing about 2 mm tall. The largest double that.

The orange component is what I am focused on.

Something looks like a spider nest in the forest.

Fungus on rotten log, cut open with saw, firm, but not woody

First seen by Sofiazed1. Tentative ID of Wolfina sp

At first resembling a crust fungus, but microscopy ruled it out. Seems to show early flatter lighter green form like a high pile carpet, developing into sage green "mop head" growth.

On boulders in forest.
Is this a lichen?
