If anyone is missing their goldfinches I think I know where they are. Put the numbers together from the feeders shot and the shot of the ground beneath them together and it's still not half of the total goldfinches I have right now. goldfinch crazy town it be around here.

I found this fellow in my garage which is not close to water at all and is very dry. I assume since it rained it wondered farther from the woodlands and ponds. If anyone knows the answer as to why let me know.

One thing for sure it was an unexpected surprise.

Used gloves to transport it outside since I read somewhere that you shouldn’t touch them. Is that true? Argh I need an expert

Drama. These guys all normally get along pretty well, but here a squirrel decided to start something and nearly got kicked in the head as reward. Moments later they were back to munching sunflower seeds side-by-side again.

Melanistic juvenile (likely male based on size relative to the Great-tailed Grackle it was feeding upon). Verified by William Clark, and Lance and Jill Morrow. First observed by M. Silvas with me, and I shouted "melanistic Cooper's Hawk, OMG" as I identified the bird preliminarily, before submitting it to experts for review.

I was sitting in my room watching the squirrels at my feeders when my Mom and Dad started calling "Owen get your camera, Quick!". I ran to see what they saw with my camera and right there on are street there was two White-Tailed Deer's! I ran outside in hopes of getting a photo but this was all a managed to get before they ran away. I stayed out for a little while and some people walked passed and said that they had seen another one on a different street. They guessed that they were looking for each other. I than ran back inside to put on my jacket and went looking but didn't find them again. I am guessing they went over to the Eastbridge Woodlot. I couldn't go to look for them because I was going to go to Bechtel Park to look for the Screech Owl (which I saw two of). I couldn't believe I had a deer right on my street!

Two males fought for control of my pool deck. The greener one ended up winning when it successfully shoved the other off the edge. Here's a short video of it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YDKqu1oqkjY

Four individuals, napping in the yard of a fine beach home. Interesting how much smaller the same species is than in my home state of WV. Also think it's very sad that they are not managed, as they are everywhere and look very hungry but not very healthy.
