The marsh rabbit is a small cottontail rabbit found in marshes and swamps of coastal regions of the eastern and southern areas of the Southern United States.
It is similar to the eastern cottontail but is characterized by smaller ears, legs, and tails. Observe image # 2 for a diagnostic view!
This morning there were three present when I arrived at the field!
