This species is known to occur at this location. I think this plant is it: a shrub about 2 ft high with small lightly toothed leaves and dark marks on the capsule. Growing on gypsum talus. I keyed it with the Flora of New Brunswick. Would appreciate comments.
Younger leaves underside softer, fuzzier than older leaves. Younger stems with glaucous coat that rubs off, older stems greenish brown
