Found washed up along the shoreline of the Gulf of Mexico in Destin, FL.
Perhaps some kind of sea slug?
A variety of hibiscus but not a bush. These are a small base of long stem flowers that are about 4-5’ tall. 5 individual petals that bloom early morning and early evening but seem to close up in the heat of the day. Long stems are seemingly bare until the last 10-12” where it has about 10 individual stem leaves, almost like oak leaves and 2-4 buds on top though not all are open at the same time.
