No bandings. Found dead, several meters from the edge of the Detroit River.
Large Female
Juvenile
Predated
This animal was seen crossing the parking lot at DeLaurie Homestead. It seemed comfortable with humans. It looks very different than any coyote I’ve seen: 20-30% larger, longer and more lanky, and with a more pointed snout instead of a round face. Also note the discolored (blind) eye, prominent mammary glands, and perhaps some dried blood or old injury on front right leg and middle back.
