I saw this Katydid on my patio window at night. It has a dark patch right behind it's head, and was crawling around on my window for a long period of time. It's wings were open the whole time and looked gently crinkled but still fully intact. Was it possibly damaged by something or just opening it's wings for the first time? It was very hard to get a good picture but was obviously interested in my phone light and the light from inside my apartment. I believe it was a Common True Katydid, but could be a round-wing false katydid of some sort. Let me know if I'm wrong!
