Eastern Gray Squirrel are so easy to observe in this time of the year. Mid-summer is their second breeding season. I can see them running up and down the tree trunk whenever I approach wood.
Eastern Gray Squirrels are omnivorous, feeding on a variety of foods such as nuts, seeds, fruits, fungi, and sometimes small insects and bird eggs.
