The last fish of the day. An archerfish I caught using a prawn on a jig head.
I caught 5 barred grunter and 1 archerfish during this session.
In a hole it might have dug before the water level lowered?
Juvenile. 2 mesial carpal spines. Found in same creek as E. valentulus and E. girurmulayn
Fairly confident but happy to be corrected! Close to type locality of E. angustus. Cephalothorax laterally compressed, rostrum very narrow, two teeth on propodal cutting edge, and cheliped proportions appear to be more like E. angustus. Also well developed ventromesal spines.
Mud chimney with burrow entrance approx 20mm in diameter. Located in trackside drain.
