Small bird with what looked like a light orange chest
Listen for the repetitive lowkey sound, almost mechanical. I think it is baby birds in a nest somewhere. I tried to get closer but then the sound stopped. This is the best I could do. I think it might be robin because I once heard an adult robin about the same time.
WARNING: A loud explosion is heard halfway through from another block. I don't know what it is.
Listen for the bird sound that is not American Robin. I split track in two part because it was too big for iNat.
In Part 1, the other bird vocalizes once at the very beginning, then again about 14 seconds in. I find it difficult to hear because of the background noise: rain, machine next door. In Part 2 the other bird vocalizes more.
I think it's House Sparrow but I'm not sure.
This is a frame of a video in which this individual started collecting nesting material. I will post another frame to clearly show the two pieces of nesting material. This must be the season's second brood or whatever it's called in wild birds.
Also Mourning Dove, Black-capped Chickadee.
Also Blue Jay, Chimney Swift, American Robin
Can anyone ID the two birds that are mobbing the crow? Doesn't quite look like Common Grackle, does it?
A fledgling out of the nest on Victoria Day. That's early! But the birds were mating already in February so it stands to reason.
0:05ish and 0:10ish
What are the other birds I hear?
