These are the two Live Oak Apple Wasp galls I have been following this spring. This observation is for the one on the left, tagged G_11_Upper
Today its diameter was 34 mm
March 8, 2024 - 9 mm estimated
March 16, 2024 - 11 mm diameter
March 24, 2024 - 22 mm diameter
April 7, 2024 - 34 mm
Compared to other tissues on this oak, the growth of these two galls in one month seems explosive!
