I am an ecologist working with Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service since 1996, and previously for NSW NPWS and Vic Department of Conservation and Environment. I have a strong interest in the distribution, status and conservation of terrestrial vertebrates. I also have research interests in the taxonomy of frogs, mammals and reptiles. And I've been a birdo since as long as I remember.
I'm mostly using iNaturalist to get photos of invertebrates and plants identified (apologies some of those images are terrible!), but also interested in what others are seeing, especially threatened frogs and some of the poorly known/taxonomically difficult frog species such as Cyclorana.
I use Observation field: Collection identifier to store my SIGHTING_ID for the observation if it is duplicated in one of my databases,
