I studied landscape architecture at Penn State from 2021 to 2024, focusing on habitat restoration. For my master's project, I surveyed reforestation sites in Montgomery County, Maryland, for woody plants, native ground flora, invasive plants, and vertical structure. As I start a career in landscape architecture, I plan to design landscapes that promote biodiversity. I usually rely on the Flora of Virginia app and Plants of Pennsylvania to key out plants.
