I am a PhD student at Clemson University studying the evolution of polyploidy from populations to phylogenies using ferns as a model system. In my limited free-time, I am slowly learning the native flora of South Carolina.

I am also a graduate of the Cal Poly (SLO) biology program. My undergraduate work involved wetland spatial ecology, remote sensing, rare plants, and floristics.
